Supervised Use Only

The hotspot is operated as a supervised school pilot. Use during school hours is monitored by us.

No Illegal Activity

Users must not use the connection or any connected device to engage in illegal activities, including copyright infringement, distribution of illegal material, hacking, unauthorized access, or any activity that breaches school or local laws.

Respect Privacy of Others

Do not attempt to intercept, record, access, or tamper with another user's traffic or private communications. This includes avoiding any form of eavesdropping, man-in-the-middle tools, or exploitation of shared services.

No Attempted Bypass of Controls

Do not try to bypass content filters, monitoring, authentication, or alignment with school policies. Attempts to bypass will result in immediate suspension of access and disciplinary review.

Device Safety & Malware

Devices connecting should be reasonably free of malware. The project team may block devices exhibiting malicious activity. You must not intentionally introduce malware, scanning tools, or automated attacks to the network. If you believe that your device is compramised, it is best for you to not use this network as it may be destructive to others. If someone hosts a computer worm, we will shut down our services for 2 months.

Appropriate/Safe For Work Content Only

The service is provided for educational, and limited personal tasks. Accessing pornographic/Not Safe For Work, hateful, extremist ideological, or otherwise inappropriate content is prohibited and may trigger a permanent to our services

Respect Our Bandwidth Limits

We use a data plan, they are non-profit shared resources. Avoid heavy background syncing, large downloads (A humerous example would be ARK: Survival Evolved), or streaming that conflicts with classroom needs. Abusive bandwidth usage may result in throttling, rate limiting or a temporary suspension to our services.

No Financial Fraud / Payments Abuse

Service is paid for via private arrangements (cash or bank transfer). Do not commit fraud, chargebacks, or attempts to trick us into releasing services without payment. Misuse will be addressed with permanent suspension of our services, blacklist and legal actions if necessary.

Account Sharing & Eligibility

Some plans are exclusive to certain groups (e.g., 'Classmates' or Grade 10s). Sharing exclusive plans outside approved participants is prohibited and may be considered payment abuse. Eligibility checks may be performed and this service is private and not public.

Reporting Abuse and missisue of our services

If you observe misuse, harassment, or unsafe activity, notify us immediately via private messages option or email. Do not retaliate or attempt private enforcement/vigilante actions.

Data & Logs

Basic operational logs are kept for troubleshooting and safety. Logs are accessed by us only. Personal data handling follows the project's privacy statements and legal obligations. Note: We only take logs of people's device id and not personal information during your connection with us.

Consequences for Breach

Policy breaches may lead to suspension of access, blacklisting, removal from the pilot, and in serious cases, legal referral. Each incident is assessed by us following school policy and our policy.

No Expectation of Anonymity

Do not assume anonymity. Session and device identifiers may be logged and correlated to investigate incidents and to support billing or refunds.

Respect our Instructions

Follow instructions from project coordinators and us regarding when and where service is available for the best connectivity. Failure to comply may result in loss of access or a weak signal.

No Unauthorized Equipment

Do not attach and embed unauthorized network equipment (repeaters, access points, hotspotting) or attempt to extend the pilot network without permission. Only project-provided hardware may be used for provisioning and connectivity tests. If you wish us to borrow or keep your equipment, you may do so by contacting us via apply page.

Age & Legal Compliance

The pilot respects COPPA, Australian privacy laws, GDPR where applicable, and other relevant international rules as explained on the Legal page.

Experimental Nature

This is an experimental pilot; functionality and connectivity is not always guaranteed. Users accept that features may change and that refunds or discounts may be applied in cases of systemic failures as described in Pricing & Terms.

Respect for Physical Property

Tampering with project hardware, or our devices is strictly prohibited. Report damaged or misplaced equipment immediately. If found guilty, a payment/fee will be placed to that induvidual's name.

Transparency & Feedback

Customers are encouraged to provide feedback about coverage, reliability, and policy. Constructive and open feedback helps improve the pilot and is treated confidentially where requested.

Amendments to Rules

Rules may be updated as the pilot evolves. We will announce material changes and, where required, obtain renewed consent for changes affecting data collection or student participation.

No Harassment or Bullying

The service must not be used to harass, bully, or threaten others. This includes sending offensive messages, sharing harmful content, or engaging in cyberbullying. Violations will result in immediate access revocation and potential school intervention.

Emergency Procedures

In case of network issues, leakage or safety concerns, disconnect immediately and notify us asap. The service may be temporarily disabled during emergencies to prioritize critical communications.

Software and Device Updates

Keep your devices updated with the latest security patches and software versions. Outdated devices may be restricted from connecting to prevent vulnerabilities in the shared network.

No Commercial Use

The pilot is for educational purposes only. Do not use the service for commercial activities, such as selling goods, advertising, or running business operations. The only acception would be SAT's that requires you to make, produce, and design advertisements, school related events, local community related events and non-profit organisations.

Environmental Responsibility

Conserve data and energy by avoiding unnecessary usage. This helps reduce the environmental impact of the pilot, reduces your costs, and ensures sustainability for all participants.

No Gossiping/Sharing others about this service

This company and project is strictly private. Any leakage or rumour spreading of this service will result in a temporary shutdown of our services.

Network Performance Reporting

Report any slow speeds, disconnections, or coverage issues to help optimize the pilot. Anonymous reporting options are available for sensitive feedback.

No Impersonation

Do not impersonate others, including staff or students, using the service. This includes creating fake accounts or misleading communications.

Accessibility Considerations

The service supports accessibility features. Users with disabilities should contact staff for accommodations, such as extended data limits for assistive tools.

Termination of Pilot

The pilot may end at any time. Users will be notified in advance, and any prepaid fees will be refunded proportionally.
