Instructions & timeline for applying to the supervised portable hotspot pilot

How to apply

We do not collect applications via forms on this site. To apply, please send an email to the project coordinator with the following:

  • Subject*: EF Pilot Application — [Surname]
  • Body*: Full Name, Age, Device count, brief reason for access, preferred messenger contact (Email / Telegram)
  • Attachments*: Device Type & Model (Windows Laptops: Settings, System, About or check label below device. Macbooks/Ios: Check Label Below or find ": This Mac". Andriod Devices: Setting, About Phone/Device, Model. Linux OS Devices: Open Terminal and type "Ishw" And copy System Name), and Face for Identification.

Review time estimate: 3–7 business days (typical)
After review, you will be contacted privately via the messenger platform you selected in your application and continue the process.

What happens next

Once we receive your application email:

  • We check eligibility and device limits.
  • We verify any required consent and safety policies.
  • We assign a reviewer and note your preferred private contact channel.
  • If approved, we message you privately with next steps (where to collect/setup, credentials, schedule).

This process is supervised — usage is logged and subject to school policy. The pilot aims to be safe, limited, and educational.
